gK9 wine & spirits is located in downtown Decatur, Illinois. Our innovative and relaxing bar space has something for everyone. Self-serve machines offer 16 wines on tap, as well as 7 unique liquors. The bar menu includes an impressive selection of beer, seltzer, cider, bubbly and more. You'll also find a curated selection of wine, spirits and snacks available for retail purchase. Contact us to reserve tables ahead or let us host your next private event. And yes- we encourage our patrons to bring in food!
How do our machines work?
WineEmotion dispensing machines use nitrogen, an inert gas, to preserve wine bottles for up to 30 days. The ability to preserve bottles allows us to give customers the opportunity to taste a large variety and price range of wines that are not generally available by the glass in other restaurants and bars. Each wine is available in a 1oz, 3oz or 5 oz pour so you can enjoy however you choose. Each liquor comes in a 0.5oz, 1oz, or 2oz size. We hope it will encourage patrons to try new things outside of their comfort zone. Don't rule anything out until you try it! Have a wine you love and want to purchase an entire case? Ask us about our special case discounts. If you have a favorite wine that we don't carry- please let us know so we can look into acquiring it for you. We also offer discounts on mixed cases off of our shelves. We have a few unique snacks available for purchase in our store. We also welcome you to bring in your own food. There are so many delicious food options downtown- and several will even deliver to gK9!
About Us
Jack and Sarah Kiley have enjoyed exploring wine together since they started dating. Over the years, they decided to make it more than a hobby and share what they had learned. In 2023, a dream became a reality, and they opened a new concept wine bar in downtown Decatur, Illinois with the goal to expand Central Illinois' access to wines that are often only available in larger cities or across the world.
